What are you looking at? If it’s a brand, then you are seeing the highly distinctive outward expressions of your organization, personality and promise. A good brand identity expresses the organization's purpose and personality through a well-defined color palette, a characteristic design system with consistent graphics, image treatment and overall page layout. Once created, this is often referred to as brand guidelines. The objective is to create a brand look and feel that encapsulates the essence, emotion and overall tone of the brand and creates a common overall design for all marketing materials. In addition, the system must be extremely flexible for creating marketing materials of various types, sizes, shapes, and future needs and applications.
